After having sketched on Illustrator what I wanted to create, I brought the image on Maya and started modeling each letter. Basically what I’ve done was creating polygons and modifying its edges and vertex. After having achieved the look for each letter I smoothed every single mesh.
Some parts as the letter “a” or “p” were difficult to recreate due to their ascendants or descendants, but I managed to use the extrude tool and adapt the vertexes.
In the end I added a Sky Dome and a Lambert material to the composition and then I adjusted the colors and applied some shining lights on Photoshop.
